Corinthians vs São Paulo: One More Glorious Moment

Today, Corinthians beat São Paulo 4-3. It was a hard game, for both teams played well, and worked very hard, however every one knows that the best prevails. The game took place in the Pacaembu Stadium. The São Paulo team, thought they would beat corinthains, so that they could finish with the "tabu" shich has haunted them since Febuary 11, 2007. Since this date, São Paulo has not won from the inglorious Corithians team. The first half of the game was well played and judged, with goals from Elias (18 min.), Danilo, who by the way is a lefty, and was able to put the ball beautifully with his right foot (33), and Jean(42 min.) In the second half, Roberto Carlos was the first one to score his goal with his super powerfull left foot shot. (seven min.) Rodrigo Souto, form the São Paulo team scored two goals which by the way if he hadn't scored, he would have probably been fired by the São Paulo coach right after the game ended. It was a bad catch by Rafael, the third benchman from the Coritnhians team. (29, 37 min.) Finally, with the score evened, Iarley, who substituted Ronaldo at the end of the game, kicked a beautiful shot, which the defense man Alex Silva, from the São Paulo team, tried to detour, which however, was directed to the goal (48 min.).
Obviously if someone asks a "São Paulino", if the judge could have "misjudged" some things for the São Paulo team's benefit, they woudl say the person is crazy, however, I think the judge tried to give the São Paulo team a hand. There were many occurenecs which could have been considered a "misjudgment" from the ref , however, some of the main were when Dentinho, a Corinthians player was held and slaped by Washington, a São Paulo player after dribbling him. He obviously got mad at being held, slapped, and thrown on the ground, which madde him defend himself. However, the ref expelled both of them, and said the causer of the incidence was Dentinho. Another two times, a penalty kick could have been awarded to the Corinthians team, however, the ref supossedly "didn't see"...Anyhow, Corithians won, scoring 4 goals, and São Paulo saw that Corinthians still has the same consistency as three years ago.
respec holimies,
peace out
Jamal

  1. This was a pretty crazy game. I rarely watch full football matches, but even I was entertained by this one.
