My Longboard

Hey!
Well, i've just realized I lacked a post, and didn't realize it. Anyhow, Christmas is superb, as mentioned in another post of mine. But this post won't talk about Christmas particularly. It will be about my Christmas present. I got a surfboard. I used to surf with short boards (6,0 ft), which usually have the characteristics of a more radical surf. It is really nice, however, one has to always be going to the beach, and practicing in order to keep the experience. Obviously if I went to the beach, and stayed for about 15 days, I would be back on top. However, as it is rare for me to go to the beach, and mainly in these long periods of time, I've decided to begin a new path in my surfing life. My father owns a longboard, in which I learned how to surf. Over these years I have also very much discovered how to enjoy the longboard style, and now a days, It is my favorite. So I've started longboarding again. I think it is a style in which the manuvers are much more aprecciative(obviously thats MY opinion) . The manuvers are much more classical. Some examples are the Hang Five, or Hang Ten, where the surfer goes to the nose of the board, with the five or then fingers of the feet, and stay there. The cuts in longboarding are much lighter, and round, which again, makes it much more classical. I got given a 9,4 feet single fin , entierley yellow. It is beautiful. At the moment, I am looking at it hung on my bedrrom wall. I took it to Juquehy beach together with my father, and cousin, to test it. The waves didn't help so much, but as it is a very large surfboard, it can easily go in any wave, and you are able to feel it already. As it is single fin, it is a little harder to manuever than a tri fin, as my dad's longboard, but at the same time, the fin is removable, which makes it much easier for transportation, and conservation. There is a movie named Singlefin:yellow, which by the way is ver good. I will put some photos of the movies board, for y'all to have an idea of how it is. The only difference is that the fin is removable, and it dosn't have the two dark black lines accompaning the stringer in the middle.
Happy new year, cause most probably the next time i write a pos will be in 2010.
at the moment vacaions are great.
Let's make an everlasting vacation, shall we?
Best regards to all
se ya.
